Nearly Departed

Two sisters at odds, armed with a cookie jar of their father’s ashes, take one last road trip with Dad to find the perfect place to say goodbye.

I wrote this short after finding that humor was the main way my sisters and I dealt with losing our dad. This intimate character dramedy is one of the recipients of the 2024 Big Sky Film Grant and is slated to shoot in Montana in Fall 2025!

Brains On! Field Trips

In 2023, I co-wrote and co-produced 3 educational specials for Brains On! from American Public Media Studios. Viewers joined stars Molly Bloom, Marc Sanchez, Sanden Totten, and Joy Dolo for a fun-filled live video event, packed with science, history, and a battle between bygone beasts.

Viewers unearthed an awesome archeological adventure with the Brains On! gang in The Big Dig. They took a whiff of a horrible mystery odor in What’s That Smell? And the joined Molly and Joy on the car ride of a lifetime in Snacktacular Road Trip.
